The Power of Skills Development
We recognise the importance of continuously updating your skills and knowledge to extend and expand your skills and knowledge, improve your capabilities across the range of tasks you carry out, and contribute to your employment outcomes.
Many professions require ongoing continuous professional development programs to be undertaken annually, and this is often a requirement for employers to meet their compliance requirements and company licensing.
What is RPL?
The Australian Government has introduced the Skills Recognition or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to enable you to turn your experience into a qualification.
RPL is an assessment process reviewing your skills, knowledge and experience that will allow you to achieve a Nationally Recognised Qualification that you deserve when meeting the criteria. By completing a self-assessment, and providing relevant supporting evidence, you can achieve a Nationally Recognised Qualification issued by an Registered Training Organisations (RTO).
There are many benefits through ther RPL process including saving both time and money and an efficient and easy process that enable you to access job opportunities as quickly as possible. There is no ‘down time’ or repetition of already gained training, and the outcomes must meet industry and licensing requirements, so although there is no classroom study required, your outcome is that you hold a nationally recognised qualifications that opens up your job opportunities in the workforce, or can provide credits into further studies.
